New single release from Gurrumul and Briggs, Triple J live performance + more
Gurrumul has been very busy of late!
Friday 11th July saw his first ever performance live in the Triple J studios.
First up was his live version of “The Hunt” with co-conspirator Briggs, timing in with the release of the single.

Then came the Naidoc Week ‘Like a Version’ special – Gurrumul, Briggs and their star studded musical posse to do their sequel to Archie Roach’s “Took the Children Away”.

One of the jewels in the crown of the 2014 Darwin Festival will be “Gurrumul. His Life and Music”
Gurrumul and the Camerata Orchestra, conducted by Iain Grandage.
Returning to his favourite venue – the Sydney Opera House – and this time with orchestra and choir.
